In the latest Love Island drama, Amber Gill has liked a tweet from a fan that says fellow contestant George Rains has been using Yewande Biala for attention. The winner is one of Yewande’s best friends – Yewande even wrote an open letter to Amber while her friend was still in the villa for Grazia – and it seems she isn’t happy with George getting close to her friend.
It was reported by the tabloids yesterday that she had liked a tweet that said, ‘I told y'all that George was moving funny but y'all didn't listen. 'I'm busy' busy with what, sir? Promoting uselessness on ig for a quick buck? I knew you wasn't on my sis level from the get-go. But you was camping on my sis ig story with your tent. So all this energy is smh.’
The Sun Online reported last month that George was pursuing Yewande in order to maximise his fame after leaving the villa. A source told the website, ‘George didn’t have much luck in the villa with Lucie but kept trying with her once she left. He used to comment on all her pictures and tried to pin her down for a date but it didn’t happen. He’s moved onto Yewande now because he knows she’s got a big following. It’s almost like he will do anything to stay in the limelight.’
Fans thought the pair were dating last month after the builder took Yewande for a golf date, and a video emerged later in the day on Instagram where it looked like George had make-up on his face.
