Love Island's Amber Gill has recently revealed that she was offered £60k to spend three days with a sugar daddy. (Yes, that's more than the reality star made when she won Love Island, and split £50k with Greg O'Shea.)
Amber revealed what the inside of her DMs are really like on BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Slide Into My Podcast, and explained how the surprising offer came about.
'I think I’ve only had two DMs ever about sugar daddies, and I actually accepted the message,' she said. 'Not because I was gonna accept the offer, but because I couldn’t see what it was. You know, when somebody sends something, you can’t see what it is, because you need to accept the message in order to see what it is. And I was so intrigued by what was being said.’
And, though she wasn't interested, it turns out the former islander was shocked by the offer. ‘I was like, wait, somebody would pay like 60 grand for me to go and spend three days with them,' she said. 'I think it was like Dubai or something like that. Madness. So I took the message. But I never replied to the person.’
But, even though Amber didn't reply, the sugar daddy still didn't take the hint - and has apparently offered her more cash to try and change her mind. ‘So this person keeps upping the offer,' she says. 'Obviously I don’t ever reply and I don’t open them anymore because now I know what it is.'
It is what it is.
