Garmin Vivomove Trend, £279.99
The Garmin Vivomove Trend is a stylish hybrid smartwatch that blends a classic analogue design with essential health, fitness and smart features. When using the touchscreen, the watch hands will dynamically move away, making it easy to view health stats, smart notifications and more. The features include a Body Battery with all-day stress tracking, sleep score, period tracking data, as well as preloaded activities and a supporting Garmin App. Plus, you have more time to stay on the move thanks to the impressive 5 days of battery life in smartwatch mode.
Our review: "It's at the higher end of the price scale for a smartwatch, but more than justified thanks to its hybrid nature. Having an analogue watch is certainly something that I have missed after succumbing to the lure of a fitness tracker many years ago. From a style perspective, the Garmin Vivomove Trend looks like a traditional watch so it isn't as obvious that I'm wearing a smartwatch and it still has all the right bells and whistles to track my steps, heart rate, stress levels and sleep score. When I compare the features to my Fitbit 5 it does outweigh the features, however, I'm able to set the hours of the Do Not Disturb, whereas with the Garmin I can only set it 'when sleeping' so if I wake up earlier than my alarm and want to go back to sleep I am disrupted if I get an alert as the DND has been automatically switched off."
