Did Victoria Beckham Just Tease Her Next Skincare Innovation?

The double cleanse has never been easier.

When it comes to beauty, Victoria Beckham doesn't play. Look to her eponymous line of clean, hard-working, ingredient-savvy and stylish (obviously) beauty products for the proof, which she launched in 2019 with Victoria Beckham Beauty. Then there's her social media presence, where she routinely drops make-up and skincare insights aplenty – all part and parcel of her growing beauty empire. In her latest Instagram Reel, VB does just that and provides a glimpse into her Sunday self-care routine, which features her newest skincare launch (more on than later) and a suspicious tease to what we believe she is working on next.

In the video, Beckham walks us through her Sunday protocol, saying, 'I try and find time for a pamper session – I apply a face mask (I switch between a few face masks that I love depending what my skin needs). I leave this on for as long as I can, then remove with my Victoria Beckham Beauty Daily Cleansing Protocol, £100, followed by a session under my LED mask and then Victoria Beckham Beauty x Augustinus Bader Power Serum, £116, and Priming Moisturiser, £60,' her caption reads.

While we are familiar with most of Beckham's skincare favourites, there was one rouge product in the line up which remained unnamed: the mask on her face. Which is odd seeing as she wears it for the entirety of the video and confesses it's a lengthy component in her regimen. 'I normally like to leave these masks on for about 45 minutes to an hour, they're not too harsh, just very cleansing, nourishing and feel really nice on the skin, so you can leave this particular mask on for quite some time, I like to keep it on.'

Could Beckham's elusive commentary be a tease for her next skincare innovation? We wouldn't be surprised. VB knows good skincare and she's got the a namesake collection to prove it.

Victoria Beckham Newest Skincare Launch

First there was the skincare collaboration of dreams as VB joined forces with luxury skincare giant Augustinus Bader to create a £92 moisturiser. Next came a makeup rangethat has proved phenomenally successful and cemented her as beauty brand founder to be reckoned with. Now? She's going back to skincare but this time she's tackling arguably the most boring part of a skincare routine, cleansing.

Beckham is collaborating with renowned aesthetician - and her go-to fascialist - Melanie Grant to create a new, innovative skincare cleansing system. And it's a total game-changer.

You might've heard about the infamous double cleanse - the act of using an oil cleanserto melt away make-up and impurities from your skin, followed by using a water-based cleanser for a thorough clean. And, if you're after that glass-like complexion (much like VB's), double cleansing is a must.

If, however, the thought of finding not one, but two, cleansers that work for your skin simply exhausts you, then you're in for a treat. Allow us to introduce, Victoria Beckham Beauty's 'Daily Cleansing Protocol' which offers a double cleansing routine in just one purchase. Described as a modern, deep cleansing treatment, this skincare duo have been created to maintain healthy, radiant looking skin.

Step 1: The Daily Oil Cleanser. This formula is your morning cleanse and the first step in your double cleansing routine. This nourishing formula has been made to remove make-up, SPF and impurities with the blend of hydrating oils. The Daily Oil Cleanser is made with oils to include, olive fruit, rice bran, avocado and fermented green tea seed oil.

Step 2: The Daily Lactic Acid Gel Cleanser. As the second step in your double cleansing routine, this cleanser is ideal for the evening time. Introducing a exfoliating acid into your routine is super beneficial if you haven't yet. This cleanser is made with lactic acid, the slightly more gentle acid to exfoliate dead skin cells whilst leaving the skin hydrated. With a blend of flower water and a humectant known as saccharide isomerate, this cleanser is great at revealing radiance but drawing water to the skin to lock in moisture after cleansing.

Victoria Beckham has officially entered the cleansing space and we are here for it. Race you to the bathroom sink.
