Meghan Markle, or the Duchess of Sussex as she's now known, has a favourite exfoliator and it has just touched down in the UK. As any beauty maven knows, a glimpse into the make-up and skincare drawers of the rich and famous is invaluable. It takes a pretty brilliant beauty buy to make the cut when they have so many different brands and products at their disposal.

Speaking to Allure way back in 2014, the Duchess divulged a few of her beauty staples. A number of familiar favourites featured in the line-up - read: NARS' blush in Orgasm and YSL's Touche Éclat - but the skincare buy that Meghan took time to rave about - namely Tatcha's Rice Enzyme Powder, The Rice Polish - was only available to shop in the US.

Drumroll, please. We would like to formally announce that Tatcha is now available to shop in the UK. British beauty aficionados are rejoicing, for this has been a long time coming. Find the whole range at their website, and keep an eye out for it on Space NK's website too, where it's due to land on the 25th May. It will be able to shop in Space NK stores from 9th June.

Everything You Need To Know About Meghan Markle's Favourite Exfoliator

If you've only ever used physical exfoliators - scrubs - to exfoliate your face, then this iteration may surprise you. Tatcha's Rice Polish is a fine powder that activates when combined with water. Dispense a little of the powder into your hands before adding a splash. The container is genius - mess-free - and the powder can serve up anything from a deep cleansing paste (when combined with very little water) to a gentle milky wash (when combined with more). The formula is full of rice powders and silk proteins, both of which nourish and strengthen skin.

It's not just Meghan that's a fan, either: Selena Gomez and Jennifer Aniston also count themselves as devotees. Here's everything you need to know about the brand:

Everything To Know About Tatcha

Tatcha was founded 2009 by Vicky Tsai. The brand's roots are firmly in J-Beauty (that's Japanese beauty), and each formula is devised by scientists in Tatcha's Institute in Tokyo. The brand say they balance 'timeless Japanese botanicals with proven clinical ingredients to work with skin'. At the base of every product lies a combination of amino acids, AHAs, fermented rice, algae and green tea: ingredients which strengthen the skin barrier.

Aside from boasting a line-up of products that, by all accounts, really do work, the packaging and textures are also on the money. Should these things matter? That's up to you to decide, but there's no denying that, together, they make for a pretty great sensorial experience.
