‘It’s Made Such A Difference To My Skin’: The £24 Toner Sophie Habboo Uses Every Day

We're already mid-way through February 2023 and Sophie Habboo's wedding to fellow Made In Chelsea alum Jamie Laing is fast approaching. 'I almost had a meltdown in January,' she says speaking exclusively to Grazia, 'it's this year! Everyone was sending me messages telling me how many days away it was exactly and I had to tell them to please stop doing that. I haven't even tried on my dress yet, I'm very behind.' The couple have just returned from visiting their wedding venue in Spain. 'We did all the wedding tastings,' she says, 'we did all the music and now I feel we've nailed it.'

Also going to plan is Sophie's pre-wedding skin prep. 'I didn't use toner until December and it's life changing,' she says, 'I've been using Paula's Choice Skin Balancing Pore Reducing Toner, £24, it's already made such a difference to my skin.' Paula's Choice is a no-frills skincare brand that is best known for it's Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant, £34, a salicylic acid based formula that gently exfoliates. 'I love that one too,' says Sophie, 'but I find the Skin Balancing version much gentler.'

It's the first time that Sophie has experimented with toners. 'I regret not using toner so much, it's now a favourite product. I like to keep my skincare routine quite simple, I have pigmentation - melasma - so I never want to exacerbate that, but this is definitely a new favourite find.'
