Move over Bella Freud and Byredo, we have a new fragrance brand to obsess over. Introducing Overose, the Parisian perfume house responsible for those rose hued candles you’ve probably spotted on Instagram.

The mastermind of ex-fashion designer and Stella McCartney alumni, Matthieu Belhandouz, the pleasingly pink collection has been gaining in popularity since it arrived at cult concept store Colette last year.

Also available online and in selected boutiques around the world, the collection stands out for its use of unusual fragrance blends such as fig leaves, ripped peach, and coconut milk, or labdanum, sandalwood and vanilla.

From their visually stunning campaign imagery (and Instagram feed) to the way they hand-tint their sustainable rapeseed wax a pretty shade of blush pink to match their pink glass containers, their aesthetic is equally on point.

Priced at 48 euros (around £43), they certainly don’t come cheap. However, when you take into account the long burn time (50-60 hours) and the endless recycling possibilities for the adorable pink pots (pens, plants, make up brushes…), it seems totally justifiable.

And ahead of Christmas they've done something a little different: their first ever pink holographic candle.

A reissue of their cult classic scent dubbed Nudesse, it’s described as a damascena rose and petrichor blend that aims to capture the scent of a garden of roses after rainfall. Housed in a dazzling, light catching holographic container, it would make the perfect addition to any #shelfie.

Available from today, we suggest you add it your Christmas list immediately.
