Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, made headlines when she attended the 2023 Variety Power of Women Event at Mother Wolf in Los Angeles, California last week, not least because of her glow. Swathed in bespoke Proenza Schouler and sporting a slicked-back low bun, Meghan's look was timeless, minimal and enviably chic. Her make-up more than met the mark too - a soft wash of precision-applied neutrals that complemented her glowing skin. From the tops of her cheeks to the crest of her collarbone, Meghan wore radiance like the ultimate accessory. So, what's her secret? A body oil apparently, and you can get your hands on it in this year's Black Friday sale.

It's not the first time that Meghan has garnered praise for her glow. In 2021 she stepped out hand-in-hand with Prince Harry in New York the Salute To Freedom Gala. Wearing a striking poppy red gown by Carolina Herrera and matching slingbacks by Giuseppe Zanotti, the Duchess was the picture of glamour. Her hair and make-up was equally impressive, the work of longtime friend and make-up artist Daniel Martin, who headed up her prep. Daniel has been Meghan's go-to make-up pro since her Suits days and the relationship between the two is so strong that Daniel flew to England to do Meghan's make-up on her wedding day. Click here to read his first-hand account of that monumental day.

Daniel has been a vocal supporter of Meghan, his longterm client and confidante, over the last few years and the Maya Angelou quote that he chose to accompany an Instagram post of Meghan's look that same year spoke volumes:

Daniel's artistry on the night was, true to form, impeccable - groomed brows, radiant skin, full lashes and subtly blushed cheeks. Meghan's shoulder-baring Carolina Herrera gown required that Daniel pay attention to the shoulder and décolletage area too, Meghan's skin was glowing. The product behind said glow? A little light sleuthing revealed all.

Daniel rarely posts his time with Meghan in the make-up chair on social media, but on this occasion he did add a video of his kit to his Instagram Stories, at the very time we would have expected him to have been with Meghan pre-event. Front an centre on the table sits a bottle of Costa Brazil Óleo Para O Corpo Jungle Firming Oil 30ml, £50.

The luxury body oil is super-charged with botanical extracts like Brazil nut oil, tea tree seed oil and even spirulina extract. If you're keen to afford your skin the Meghan treatment, rejoice, as this one's available to shop now in the UK. You could do far worse than taking your beauty cues from a Duchess.
