You can always rely onGwyneth Paltrowto spread the joy and when it came to her 48th birthday she didn't disappoint. Taking to Instagram, Gwyneth shared a very candid snap of herself casually posing side-on in front of a tree in her 'birthday suit'. The real dazzler in this picture? Gwyneth Paltrow's megawatt smile.
Sure, it's the 'OMG Gwyneth Paltrow is naked!' aspect that will likely hit most headlines the world over but, for us, what shines from this picture is carefree confidence. Gwyneth's caption read, 'In nothing but my birthday suit today...thank you all so much for the birthday wishes and thank you to @goop's insanely amazing brand new body butter for making me think I can still get my kit off. #goopgenes.' Two points to note here guys. Firstly, we can all get our kit off and happily snap away at any point in our lives - add a huge happy smile into the mix and results will always, yes_always_be beautiful. Secondly, Gwyneth just dropped a beauty product recommendation in and barely anyone noticed! Time to do some investigating...
The Body Butter Gwyneth Used Pre Naked Instagram Snap
Goop have just launched a brand new body butter called GoopGenes Nourishing Repair Body Butter and, evidently, Gwyneth Paltrow is obsessed. Her Instagram credit infers that she applied this new beauty gem just before stripping off to her birthday suit, and if it's good enough for Gwyneth...!
The body butter is described as having a 'rich and luxurious' texture that combines nourishing cupuaçu, bacuri and shea butters alongside a botanical line-up of ingredients. It's said to smell citrusy and - the best part - hydrate dry skin for up to 72 hours. Now, obviously we'll be showering multiple times in that 72 hour window but hey - we're here for the claims!
Sadly, right now, the body butter is only available in the US but don't despair - Cult Beauty recently announced they will be stocking Gwyneth's Goop range to much elation here in the UK. It's likely we'll see this latest addition join their digital shelves some time soon .
