The Feelgood Files: Emma Louise Connolly

Model Emma Louise Connolly can always be relied upon to spread the joy. Whether it's sharing fuss-free recipes from her London pad with fiancé Oliver Proudlock (of Made In Chelsea fame), pranking said fiancé and sharing it on Instagram stories, much to the delight of her 400k+ following, or doling out her secrets to an instant mood boost or two to Grazia. Here she does just that. Cue book recommendations, recipe tips and beauty favourites a plenty.

The song I listen to when I need a boost: I’m an old school gal, absolutely anything George Michael or Fleetwood Mac, or Elton John - can I have three?

The book I can’t put down: I am just starting Dear Female Founder which was recommended to me by my cousin, who has excellent taste.

My go-to feelgood recipe: Spaghetti with good olive oil, chilli and garlic. So easy, it takes 10 minutes to make and is super satisfying.

The Instagram account that brings me joy: @influencersinthewild. It makes me properly LOL and also keeps me on the edge of my seat as I am convinced one day, I’ll see a video of my fiancé, Ollie lying in the pavement taking photos of me.

What never fails to make me smile: My family and friends. A quick call on FaceTime goes a long way, especially now.

My go-to supplement: Apple cider vinegar pills.

My favourite at-home workout: Pamela Reif YouTube workouts. Pamela and I are both signed with Puma and have been together all over the world on various Puma trips and activations. It is fun to train with her from the comfort of my living room.

My feel-good at-home beauty routine: I have to be honest, I don’t actually follow a strict beauty routine. I am quite impatient and find long routines a faff. I do however get simple pleasure out of washing my face with Skinceuticals blemish and age cleansing gel. And if I need a further pick me up, Clinique Even Better Glow, £27, foundation gives your skin a light (sometime necessary!) filter. The Netflix show I tell everyone to watch: Tiger King, wild! No pun intended.

My happy place: Home sweet home.
