When I first wrote about the Clarins Double Serum I'd been testing it for five months and was already incredibly impressed by the boost in radiance. At that point, I was incredibly strict with myself – I used the Clarins serum religiously to be sure I could credit it with my new found glow. It's been a year - and I'm still going strong. Here are my non-negotiables for testing a serum:
Formula: As ever, considering how the formula feels is on my skin is a must. I asked myself was it sticky or silky, oily or runny?While the serum is rich, it's also silky and lightweight. No stickiness in sight.
Effectiveness: It may sound obvious, but no one truly has time for a serum that doesn't do exactly what it promises - ie more beautiful, youthful skin. Be assured that this review has been written because I really rate it.
Skin type: I have sensitive, combination skin and found this worked well for my skin type. Clarins say that this one is also suited to combination, dry, normal, oily and sensitive skin, making it something of an all rounder.
