Fast forward ten years and in-clinic cosmetic treatments are big business. Now, injectables like Botox, filler and laser treatments are not only becoming the norm, but are more widely available than they ever have been.

Morpheus8: loved by Vogue Williams, Joanne McNally

If you're a listener of Vogue Williams and Joanne McNally's My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast_,_ then you'll know both women are a fan of Morpheus8.

What is it?
'As time wears on our body loses the ability to produce collagen and elastin as it once did, resulting in a loss of skin volume and firmness,' explains Alice Henshaw, founder of the iconic Harley Street Injectables and science-led cosmeceutical brand, Skincycles. 'Morpheus8 is a revolutionary method of skin tightening which rebuilds and reinforces the underlying structure of your skin through micro-needling combined with radiofrequency (RF) technology, working to tighten and tone the skin, improve laxity and acne scarring / pigmentation.'

**What does it involve?
**Morpheus8 combines a few different treatments in one. First, there's micro-needling, which involves using tiny needles to puncture the skin, resulting in your body ramping up collagen production. Then, radiofrequency energy is delivered through needles to heat up the skin – again, prompting more collagen and elastin production.

**What are the benefits?
**The treatment aims to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while improving skin tone and texture. It can also work to firm the skin and minimise acne scarring and areas of pigmentation.

Jennifer Aniston has spoken openly before about how she's not a fan of Botox, but she is a fan of Ultherapy.

What is it?
Ultherapy uses ultrasound to tighten the muscle layer of the face. This helps to stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin deep within the skin.

What does it involve?
While it sounds similar to Morpheus8, Ultherapy works slightly differently – using high intensity focused ultrasound, rather than a combination of micro-needling and radio-frequency. Each treatment takes around 45-minutes, with the majority of patients only needing one treatment per year.
What are the benefits?
Benefits include tightening, toning and lifting of the skin. Collagen and elastin production is boosted too.

MOXI Laser: loved by Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashianrecently shared her experience receiving the MOXI laser treatment with Dr Ashkan Ghavami. 'It's one of the few lasers – well first of all it takes care of reds, pigments, all that stuff, it just texturises your skin.' explained Dr Ghavami.

What it is?
MOXI is a gentle, fractional, non-ablative diode laser resurfacing treatment that can be used on all skin tones to promote new cell growth and reduce unwanted pigmentation with less downtime than more aggressive laser treatments.

What does it involve?
