Today marks Victoria Beckham’s birthday. She’s 51, and if her latest Instagram video is anything to go by, she’s never looked more radiant. Sharing a sneak peek into her beauty routine, Beckham is all luminous skin, fluffed up brows and full, pouty lips. It’s perhaps this signature pout that has caused her lipsticks to be among her best sellers. Fans of her eponymous line, Victoria Beckham Beauty, cause the buttery formulas to sell out time and time again. It makes sense, then, that she’d choose to celebrate her birthday by launching a limited edition edit - two exclusive Lip Definer Shades created from her own personal collection.
'For my birthday, I want to share with you a gift I made for myself,' reveals Victoria. 'I am so in love with my No. 02 Lip Definer that I asked the incredible Victoria Beckham Beauty team to create two new extremely specific variations. In this limited edition set, you will find my personal No. 01.5 and No. 02.5—a slightly more brown and slightly more rose pink rendition of No. 02, respectively. Each has their specific time and place, and if you’re a lip perfectionist like me (and a lover of our most-loved No. 02), I know you'll be obsessed, too.'

Pros
- 3 universally flattering shades
Cons
- Expected to sell out fast
With this limited edition trio of pencils comes two new and exclusive shades that Victoria had been using as custom pencils in her private collection. There's 01.5, a lighter brown variation of the bestselling 02, which is often touted as the 'perfect nude.' And then theres 02.5, a slightly warmer, pinker version of the bestseller.
After trying the trio myself I'm incredibly impressed. I'm already a fan of 02, and, although the difference in the new shades may appear minimal to the untrained eye, fellow lip perfectionists will likely be swayed by the subtle, but impactful contrast. I've been particularly drawn to the Lip Definer in 01.5 - I'll lightly outline my lips with this before applying a balm. The results are a pretty kind of 'bloom' - my lips feel defined, and come to life in beautiful, natural way.
While there's no denying the trio err on the expensive side at £82, VB devotees won't bat an eyelid - she's well known for going above and beyond basic make-up. These pencils are infused with a myriad of lip-beautifying ingredients like Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 to minimise fine lines around the mouth and vitamin E to protect against free radical damage.
A happy birthday, indeed.
