The figure of 3 contouring method has been drilled into you by every YouTuber since Zoella. Promising to effortlessly sculpt your forehead, cheekbones and jawline, it relies on pretty much every face being the same shape, which we of course know isn't so.
Luckily for us however, TikTok has launched a filter that's suited to individual face shapes. Through a series of bright pink intersecting lines, showing you exactly where your bronzer, blush and highlight should go, users have credited it with revolutionising the way we contour. Instead of nestling bronzer in the hollow of the cheekbone, this filter places bronzer on top of it, and prompts you to pull the bronzer right up near the temple. Blusher sits just above it, instead of the apple of the cheek. The result? A cheekbone that appears a whole lot more chiselled.
