Amidst the uncertainty of the corona crisis, it's heartening to see the countless acts of kindness across the UK to help those on the frontline. From fashion houses creating PPE to Captain Tom Moore’s 100th birthday walk for the NHS – the efforts to support our nation's heroes has been nothing short of astounding. Not one to miss out, the beauty industry has also joined forces to help give back.

Luxury fashion and beauty house LVMH dedicated three of its factories to produce antibacterial gel for public authorities in France, free of charge. Here in the UK, brands including Pai Skincare, Garnier, Oskia and Tan-Luxe have all followed suit, making hand sanitisers for those who need them most. Several brands, big and small, have also donated care packages, beauty gifts, free services and competitions as way of thanking the NHS workers. Read on to discover the latest beauty initiatives and make sure you pass on to anyone working for the NHS who deserves to be treated…

So far, the properties that have donated to the initiative include The Langley, Beaverbrook, Lucknam Park, The Grove, Stoke Park, The Langham, Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, South Lodge, Pennyhill Park, Ockenden Manor, Bailiffscourt, St Michaels Resort, Grantley Hall, Seaham Hall, Thyme, Rockliffe Hall and Archerfield House.

The Luxury Spa Edit Founder, Lisa Brown said: ‘I’m incredibly grateful to our spa partners who have been so generous with their donations. Our competitions will allow some of our heroes to take a much-deserved wellness break.’ 'Wellness For Heroes' competitions are open to all NHS staff and key frontline workers from 20/04/20 - 31/07/2020 and you can enter here.
