2021 is a big year for Made In Chelsea's Verity Bowditch. She's currently starring in Made In Chelsea's 21st season in the reality TV show's 10th anniversary year, her Pilates with Verity brand is going from strength to strength, she has hinted at a brand new DJ boyfriend - the identity of whom she is yet to reveal officially - and has even co-launched a plant-based food chain called Clean Kitchen with YouTube star Mikey Pearce. Like we said, big year and we predict big things. This girl also knows her way around a beauty counter too and she's mid-spree in Selfridges when I call for a beauty-centric catch-up. What's she on the lookout for? 'The Hourglass Vanish Seamless Foundation Stick, £45!' She replies, 'I'm not sure how but somehow my skin's more tanned at the moment. My current one just isn't the right shade anymore! It must be down to being outside so much in Dorset recently. I could't recommend this foundation stick enough though, it's so good!'

Verity is pretty low-key when it comes to make-up on the daily. 'I definitely go for a natural look,' she says, 'I like to look bronzed though. I love Kiko Milano's Flawless Fusion Bronzer Powder, £10.99, and when it comes to eyes I normally go for a pale pink shimmer. Then I'll go either one of two ways for my lip look. I love Charlotte Tilbury's Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk, £25, for a natural look' ah, a classic. 'Or I'll wear a red lip. Charlotte Tilbury's K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in So Red, £25, is my go-to. I love a bit of gloss too and have always have a real budget-friendly buy to hand - bPerfect's Double Glaze Lipgloss in Iced, £9.95, it looks great on top of any lip colour.'
Edy London's lash extensions are so good, they're just so natural looking
And whilst Verity is certainly not averse to mascara (scroll down to shop her favourite cruelty-free one below) her lash look at the moment comes courtesy of lash technician extraordinaire Edy London. 'I absolutely love her lashes! You know how good they are,' yep, it's true, Edy is my go-to lash guru too. 'Edy London's lash extensions ae so good, they're just so natural looking,' enthuses Verity. 'I go for a C curl. Mine always last so long too, I see her religiously every few weeks.'
Talking of treatments, are there any other beauty appointments that Verity simply wouldn't be without? 'I visit Hayley Hems for HydraFacials in Mayfair, I see her every months and those facials keep my skin really hydrated. Then there's my hair colour. I visit the incredible Moe Harb for balayage, I book in every two to three months.'
Verity has more than locked down her signature hair and beauty looks, but does any of that change when it comes to getting ready to film an episode of Made In Chelsea? 'Yes, I always put on a little more bronzer as you can end up looking quite washed out. I wear lip liner for filming too to makes my lips look a bit bigger, where as normally I don't really care about that sort of thing. I wear a darker eye too. I definitely put a lot more effort in when I'm filming!'
Sophie Habboo got me onto soap brows, she loves them!
There's always a steady stream of beauty tips on tap from fellow Made In Chelsea cast members too. 'Sophie Habboo got me onto soap brows, she loves them! Use an eyebrow brush to apply a bit of soap to your brows to keep them up, it works like a dream! I have my brows laminated anyway, but using the soap and eyebrow brush trick on a filming day gives them a bit of extra staying power.' Duly noted Sophie Habboo.
Now let's talk scent. 'My everyday scent is Le Labo's Santal 33 Eau de Parfum 50ml, £130. I think having a signature scent is so great, it stays with you and other people. Scent definitely comes into play with ex boyfriends in particular! It just takes walking past someone who's wearing the same scent as an ex for me to think 'Oh my gosh!' and feel like I'm right beside them again. It happens with holidays too, I saw Habs (Sophie Habboo) the other day and she caught the smell of my perfume and said she was immediately transported back to Argentina where we filmed part of Made In Chelsea last year.'
Wait, back to boy smells. Is there a particular men's perfume that has Verity at hello? 'There's a Chanel one that's delicious!' Verity laughs, 'Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau de Toilette 50ml, £56.50, that's amazing.' Any an instant turn-off? 'I'm not a big fan of oudh scents on guys,' Verity admits. Future love interests - you have been warned.
