Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, (formerly known as Meghan Markle) is clearly a make-up lover. Her career as an actress (she hit the big time in TV series Suits) saw her spend plenty of time in the make-up chair, and you don't log those sort of hours without picking up a handy make-up tip or two. During that time she formed a strong friendship with make-up artist Daniel Martin who she enlisted to apply her wedding day make-up, what greater honour could she have bestowed?! Whilst it's not clear who has been her regular make-up artist since then, or even whether she's been doing her make-up herself, there's no denying that Meghan has a specific make-up style. Mink brown eyeshadow, a touch of defining eyeliner, curled volume-packed lashes, a pretty pink blush and rose shade of lippy, yep, there you have Meghan's signtaure make-up look. That's not to say she hasn't changed things up from time to time. It's time for us to take you through our favourite Meghan make-up looks. Scroll on down to browse the best of the best and find out what products you can shop to copy them. First up though? A detailed breakdown of one of our favourite recent Duchess-worthy make-up looks.

Meghan's start status prior to her relationship with Prince Harry means there's a plethora of interviews available to sift through if you're after beauty recommendations from the Duchess of Sussex and in nearly all of them she mentions one particular blusher. A Breakdown Of One Of Our Favourite Meghan Make-Up Looks

Remember when Meghanand Harry stepped out during a visit to Canada House at the beginning of 2020? Little did we know that it would preempt the couple's HUGE announcement that they were 'stepping back' as senior royals. That day her outfit reeled in social media admiration but, for those beauty obsessives of us out there, it was her make-up that proved the real eye-catcher. Meghan the Duchess of Sussex has a distinctive make-up style and this look marked a real departure from that. She swapped rose pink cheeks for copper tones, mink toned shadow for a bronze shade on her eyelids, and a pink lop for a terracotta toned gloss. We loved to see Meghan mixing up her make-up so much that we've broken down the look below:

bareMinerals Lasting Line Long-Wearing Eyeliner, £15 We love this super-soft twist-up pencil liner. It's great for creating a bold, smoky line, and smudging with the spongy tool at the other end of the pencil. It lasts all day, too.

The Everyday Lashes

We're always head over heels for Meghan Markle's lashes. That curl, the depth of colour, the length the thickness. How does she lock down her lash look? She once recommended an £8.99 mascara to her make-up artist at the time Lydia Sellers. That mascara was Maybelline's Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara. Duly noted!

The Glossed-Up Lips

At the Endeavour Fund Awards on the evening of Thursday 5th March 2020 Meghan made her first appearance in a good long while, and her make-up proved a crowd-pleaser.What: Meghan opted for a russet shade of blusher, and used the same tones on her eyes and deep into her sockets, along with Kate Moss levels of kohl to dramatically define her eyes. On her lips, she's chosen to up the gloss factor, with a sheer berry shade of colour. As she chose the evening to debut a new Victoria Beckham dress, we think it's only fitting to recommend the Victoria Beckham Beauty Bitten Lip Tint, £30, as the copycat option. Who knows, maybe it's even the very same one that Meghan's wearing.

Meghan normally opts for a natural rose-tinted look, but she chose this now fairly-monumental appearance to showcase an altogether different set of make-up shades, that chimed in perfectly with her tan-toned outfit.

The Eyes

Meghan married her trademark-worthy lash and liner with a shimmering shade of taupe eyeshadow. A touch was swept across her lower lash line as well as her lids, which accentuated her brown eyes and made them glimmer. Try Fenty Beauty Snap Shadows Eyeshadow Plaette in True Neutrals, £21.

The Cheeks

Meghan normally sticks to pinks shades of blush (NARS Orgasm Blush, £25, is a favourite), but this time she opted for a sweep of a more bronze shade of powder across the outer side of each cheekbone, and matched it with a touch of subtle highlighter on the apples of her cheeks. Try NARS Blush in Liberté, £25, and Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Luminous Light, £42.

The Lips

A russet shade of sheer lippy proved the finishing touch to Meghan's latest make-up look. It wasn't a full gloss, but appeared to have a balm-like finish, a pretty touch of shine. Try By Terry Hyaluronic Sheer Rouge Lipstick in Hot Spot, £29.
