Lucy Watson's Instagram following - 1.2 million strong in case you were wondering - were left on tenterhooks last week as they waited for the first glimpse of the Made In Chelsea star, author and brand founder's wedding to beau James Dunmore. The pair married on 12th September in Kefalonia, the Greek island that took centre stage as the main filming location for 2001' blockbuster hit Captain Corelli's Mandolin. Lucy wore a show-stopping Milla Nova dress for the occasion, which she paired with an entirely vegan beauty look that was applied by make-up artist to the stars Summer Dyason. Lucy spoke exclusively to Grazia about her bridal beauty look and here's what she had to say:

On the wedding trial process and hitting on the perfect look

'I went back and forth a few times trying to figure out how smoky to go with the eye make-up and whether or not we should include my favourite winger liner. In the end I decided that I wanted my hair look to be quite minimal and effortless as my dress and veil were both so dramatic. Skin wise I wanted a natural, dewy look and of course SPF was a priority too. We ended up using Rodial's SPF Skin Tint+ SPF 20, £49, which is my everyday base,' Lucy has done a number of paid collaborations with Rodial and is a longterm fan of the brand. 'I wanted a bright eye that incorporated a blended brown wing for definition but wasn't too smoky. We went for make-up that looked timeless, classic and complemented my dress and hair perfectly.'

On the products worth reapplying throughout the day

'Summer was with me all day and night thank goodness! As it was both raining and humid. She touched up my base throughout the day with Rodial Glass Powder, £45, which is my favourite setting powder. She also reapplied my lip a few times and when it came to the evening we went a bit smokier with my eye make-up.'

On everyday make-up vs wedding make-up

'Honestly, my wedding make-up wasn't a huge departure from my everyday make-up look and that's what I lived about it. I felt like m e when I was walking down the aisle. The only real difference was my eye make-up, which was a little heavier than I tend to wear day-to-day, I rarely wear eyeshadow.'

On the final look

'I loved the whole look. I felt like Summer really accentuated my best features and I didn't feel that I was wearing too much, which is always important to me, especially in hot weather. I'd been feeling a bit down about my skin on the morning of my wedding as I had been breaking out due to stress. On the day, though, you wouldn't have known about any of the little spots hiding under there! That made me feel even more confident.'

Summer Dyason's Top 'Get The Look' Tips

You do you - 'I think the most important thing is to choose a look that you feel comfortable in and ultimately be yourself, whether that means a red lip, a smoky eye or the barely there look. Don't feel pressured to do anything but you.'

Know your base - 'When it comes to glow I love Rodial's Skin Tint, which is more of a tinted moisturiser. It creates a radiant base that lets your skin show through. Want that same glow but with a bit more coverage? Mix in a bit of your go-to concealer. When using a base with SPF in it make sure it doesn't cause flashback too, you can test it by using a camera with a flash well before your big day. Rodial's Skin Tint has an SPF 20 but doesn't cause any flashback. I love to finish skin with a little powder along the T-zone. Rodial's Glass Powder tones down shine and has a smoothing effect too. To up Lucy's glow we used Rodial's Glass Primer, £30. There's a beautiful iridescence to it that shines through any foundation you apply over the top.'

Emphasise eyes - 'I defined Lucy's eyes with the Rodial Smoky Eye Pen in Brown, £17, which I buffed out into a seamless wing, topped with a few individual lashes in the outer corners of Lucy's eyes to create a feline look.'

Don't forget blush - 'I used Rodial Blush Drops, £35, to heighten that glowing skin effect.'
