Make-up artist Lisa Armstrong calls this an essential. It's body make-up, but not as you know it. This lightweight cream is tinted, and covers bruises, leg veins, scars and blemishes with real ease. It's water and transfer resistant, so stays put surprisingly well.

We weren't surprised to spot this in Lisa Armstrong's Instagram post. This liquid glitter eyeshadow gives an intense colour payoff in one swipe. If a glitter smoky eye is something that daunts you, swipe over the eyelid and blend the edges with your finger. It'll diffuse any harsh lines and look effortless.

The holy grail of full coverage concealers, it's no wonder this kit has made its way on to the faces of the Strictly cast. It's seriously full coverage, and makes light work of concealing under eyes or blemishes. The satisfying doe foot applicator also reaches to the corner of the eyes easily.

Bobbi Brown's bestselling Face Base has been getting a lot of airtime recently, after being spotted in Molly Mae's make-up tutorials. And it's for good reason: this moisturiser-primer hybrid cushions the skin with a generous amount of moisture, and creates a plump base for make-up.
5 of 8KVD Beauty Shade and Light Contour Palette, £38
The OG contour and highlight palette. Whilst on first glance you might not think a trio of contour shades is necessary, it's these shades - when used together - that create dimension on the face. Carve your way to chiselled cheekbones and get creative with colour placement. Besides, who says you can't use them as eyeshadows?

It's hard to get excited about setting powder, but if there's one to illicit excitement, it's this. Forget connotations of chalk and dust; this powder feels velvety and lightweight. It's fine enough to be used all over the face without caking, and will (inevitably) keep those dancers' make-up in place all night long.

What is the foundation that stays put through the blood, sweat and tears? There might be multiple, but Armani's Luminous Silk is one of them. It has a medium to full coverage, and a velvety, blurring finish.
