Trust Huda Kattan to create a ruckus online in the name of beauty. Armed with a penchant for creating crowd-pleasing and quick-to-go viral products, the billionaire business founder (yes, billionaire) has just launched her first product since announcing she has regained full ownership of her namesake line Huda Beauty. Now, comfortably back at the helm of the brand she founded with her sisters, Kattan has started off with a bang, releasing not one but two lip heroes that will see you through a sweaty summer. Already racking up search volumes of 5,000% on Google (alongside rave reviews on TikTok) Huda Beauty introduces its new lip duo: the Lip Contour Stain, £22, and the Faux Filler Jelly Oil, £21.
True to its community-led product developments, Huda Beauty has taped into a growing appetite for long-lasting lip wear with the Lip Contour Stain. It's no secret lip stains have been all the rage of late, with formulas that include as peel-off tints, and felted markers, but Huda's iteration offers up a modern take. Available in eight ultra-pigmented shades from Cherry Red to Toasty Brown (fast-become fan favourites), the hues alone quickly set it apart from others on the market. Pro make-up artist Vincent Ford described the stains as a game-changer on Instagram, noting, 'I know there's been lip stains out before but I always find they are in pinks or red. Huda's come out with ones that are brown and nude which is so perfect for that ombre look.'

Game-changing shades aside, the lip stain has an impressive formula. Smudge and transfer-proof for 12-hours, they are rich in pigment but comfortable on the lips thanks to nourishing argon oil, which helps the stain to glide over sans tugging or bleeding. That ease of application is only helped with its innovative double-sided spongey tip, which deposits just the right amount of product for you to line lips or fill in.
To top it all off (quite literally), the brand encourages us to complete the lip look with a high-shine finish, courtesy of the new Faux Filler Jelly Oil. While they look very similar to the existing Faux Filler Lip Gloss range (right down to the large doe foot applicator), this newbie introduces a whole new format to the brand's lip category byway of an oil. Packing maximum shine and comfort in equal measure, the hydrating lip oils are loaded with peptides and shea butter for a lightweight, non-sticky, lip softening result . While the market isn't short of lip stains and lip oils, the newest Huda Beauty innovations have no issue standing out from the busy crowd.

My honest review of the Huda Beauty Lip Stain
Sameeha Shaikh, beauty writer, says: 'I'm obsessed with lip liners, specifically nude and brown hues reminiscent of the '90s, but I'm not so obsessed with how quickly some formulas can fade, which often leaves me having to reapply my liner at one too many intervals in the day. Huda Beauty's Lip Contour Stains first pulled me with its stunning shade offering, which includes an impressive four brown to nude shades, each primed to deliver the kind of lip look I'm sure the Supers themselves would've swooned over. Much like the rest of the internet, I've taken to Toasty Brown a warm caramel brown that has proved so popular that it is already sold out on the Huda Beauty website. But the gift doesn't stop there. I wore the stain all weekend and was taken by how long it actually lasted. Having applied it in the afternoon around 1pm, the stain saw me through a very conversational manicure appointment, dinner and a late night matcha, and when I got home at 11pm my lips were very much still intact. As for the gloss? Let's just say its my new handbag staple.'
