Chloe Lloyd is a British model (she was scouted at the tender age of 19) and creative who has garnered a huge following on Instagram (303k and counting). Married to Union J star Josh Cuthbert, Chloe is a self-confessed 'skincare junkie' and 'fragrance hoarder' - so naturally we had to get her on Zoom to chat must-have beauty buys, favourite fragrances and foolproof make-up tricks and the affordable brow product she simply couldn't be without.

My first beauty memory: Would have to be the perfume that I wore in my teens. I’m pretty sure I used to have the Beyoncé one. What an iconic 2000s perfume! I remember a lot of my friends used to have the Britney one that was so sweet it gave me a headache...

My biggest beauty blunder to date: Probably when I would wear way too much foundation when I was younger. I thought it gave me a flawless complexion (the YouTubers said so) but it highlighted any texture and looked cakey. These days I love a light dewy finish foundation or tinted moisturiser.

The scent that makes me nostalgic: I wore Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede Cologne 50ml, £69, on my wedding day and had candles with the same scent laid out throughout the venue. Now, every time I get a whiff of that scent it reminds me of that day.

My favourite fragrance today: I am a fragrance hoarder so it’s hard to choose but I keep going back to Kilian Moonlight in Heaven Eau de Parfum 50ml, £185, it’s so dreamy! I’m also loving Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Orange Soleia Eau de Toilette 75ml, £63, for a summer day.

My current skincare routine: I’m a skincare junkie and am very lucky to have a job that allows me to try lots of new products so I’m often swapping and changing, I get too excited over new launches. At the minute I am double cleansing, first with an oil based remover to really get that makeup off then with a foamy one. Next I tone. I’m currently using REN Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic, £25, which is great for resurfacing the skin. I always use a serum, I’m loving Murad's retinol range at the minute. I usually then finish with a night cream then I finish with a rose water mist to feel fancy. I really look forward to my skin routine at the end of the day as a little moment to myself to boogie to some music, listen to a podcast or be alone with my thoughts.

How I handle spots: I recently came across ZitSticka Killa Patches, £27, and they’re amazing for tacking spots straight away. I will sometimes, instead, put on a little retinol at night to dry them out then hope for the best.

The hair buys I wouldn’t be without: I think investing in a good shampoo, conditioner and hair mask is game-changing. I love to switch and change but often reach for Redken, Kerastase or Moroccanoil. I use a heat protector spray and a hair oil to finish too. I run some oil through my hair any chance I get to moisturise those dry ends, usually Morocconoil Treatment Original 100ml, £32.85.

My newest beauty discovery: I’m loving the soap brows trend. Make-up artists have used it on me for years but I’ve started doing it daily now and I’m obsessed. It's the perfect way to achieve a bushy brow that stays put all day. Iconic London Brow Silk and Brush, £20.

The beauty product that can lift my mood in an instant: A face mask at the end of the day makes me feel like I have my life together.. even when I don’t! I love Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay Mask, £38.

My idea of the perfect pamper evening: Definitely a long soak in my bath with my face mask, a hair mask, a full body scrub, all the body oils and some random awful YouTube video on in the background. I re-did my bathroom pre lockdown and it’s become my favourite place. Then when I’m out of the bath it’s time for some fresh fake tan to be applied. The kettle then gets put on to boil and I eat some chocolate on the sofa watching a Sky murder documentary. Perfect!

The expensive beauty buy that I consider well worth the splurge: Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream, £42. I’ve been buying it for years and never buy more than one a year - it lasts forever and is so great for both face and body. The pot is a dream to have on your dressing table too.

The bargain beauty gem that I wouldn’t be without: Maybelline Brow Tattoo Long Lasting Tint, £12.99, is incredible for a quick brow tint. I leave it on for 15 mins and then peel it off like a mask. You can even use it to draw faux freckles on that last a day or two too - my holiday plans have been cancelled so I'm doing all I can to look sun-kissed.

The one beauty product that I reserve for special occasions: Probably lash extensions - I only get them if I’m heading off on a long trip or want to feel extra for something. Every time I get them I wish I had the patience and organisation skills to keep them up. I get a very natural look so that people assume they’re real and that I simply look well rested.
