As we're all aware by now, Love Island has a fair bit to teach us when it comes to beauty (not convinced? Read this!), and it seems that this year's first collection of islanders is set to be no exception. A quick look at the original girls' Instagram accounts is all it takes to reveal a few eye-catching beauty looks that the masses will no doubt be clamoring to copy in the space of a few weeks.
For us, it's Sophie Piper that's leading the field (Rochelle Humes' sister). She dubbed her self a 'classy' Essex girl in her intro to the show, and true to her word, her beauty looks are inspired. There are statement lips paired with slicked back hair, cat eye flicks worthy of the catwalk, and many many more besides.
Siânnise Fudge, who fancies herself as a bit of a Princess Jasmine, and is after her very own Aladdin, was a beauty consultant by day, so she was always going to be handy with a make-up brush and palette - her Instagram feed is proof of that and we can't wait to copy her brown smokey eye, scroll through to find it, it's a winner.
We're sure that we'll be seeing a shed load more must-try beauty looks once the series is in full flow, but for now here's a taste of the original girls' favourite lip, eye shadow, hair and base looks before entering the villa. A berry lip is very on trend right now, as, it would seem, Love Island's Eve knows all too well. Apply a couple of layers of your favourite shade, and dab a touch of gloss over the top to copy this islander's look.
