Kim Kardashian’s Hairstylist Just Showed How Easy It Is To Recreate Her Wedding Guest Updo

While all eyes were most definitely on Kourtney Kardashian and her lingerie inspired Dolce & Gabanna wedding dress, sister Kim came close to stealing the show at Kourtney and Travis' Portofino nuptials.

In comparison to Kourtney's white dress, Kim looked part chic Italian wife, part fifth member of The Craft, wearing a full length, black lace dress complete with oversized golden cross necklace.

The icing on the cake for her ‘90s goth vibes was her hairstyle, which, turns out, only needs a claw clip and a curling tong to recreate at home.

Of course, the man behind the iconic updo was none other than her long-time hairstylistChris Appleton.

Thanks to TikTok we don’t require access to Chris, or an NVQ in hairdressing, as he shared a breakdown of how to recreate the entire look and it’s surprisingly simpler than we thought.

So while you may not have a gothic Italian wedding to attend, you can bring a bit of Pamela Anderson/Kim K style to your next pub garden outing.

First of all, you’re going to need a large barrelled curling wand. Chris recommends taking large sections and being quite “uneven” and “random” in how you curl, which sounds ideal for our level of expertise.

He leaves the ends of the hair out for a more natural finish and once the whole head is curled, sprays all over with a texture spray. Chris uses the Color Wow Style on Steroids.

Leave the front two sections of hair out and clip the rest back in your claw clip of choice. Chris finishes by adding some kirby grips to the top to “refine” the look, but that is quite literally all there is to it.
