The first female presidential nominee is used to the spotlight - in her very public roles as First Lady in the White House, as New York senator in the noughties and then more recently as the 67th Secretary of State, under Barack Obama from 2009 until 2013. Her rise to the top in politics has been well documented…And with it? An obsession over her ever-changing hairstyles.
Why? From those flowy Bardot-esque locks as a young student in the sixties to her signature layered bob, Hillary has managed to take the phrase ‘power cut’ to new heights (more on that later). In fact, she keeps her mane in check with the help of Beyoncé’s hairstylist, John Barrett. ‘I don’t think she’ll be coming to the salon anymore to get her hair done [if she wins the upcoming Presidential election in November]!’ Barrett revealed to W magazine this year. ‘Hopefully, I’ll be a frequent visitor. Even in last few weeks, her secret service has doubled. She finds it annoying because it slows her down.’
