There have been a few viral stories of late of people scouring Tinder in order to catch their significant others out, for example this woman Jennywho created a profile purely to find her Husband on the app has taken Twitter by a storm.
How can you tell if your partner is cheating on Tinder?
Clearly spotting a gap in the market, new website Swipebutster lets you do a quick search to reveal if your girlfriend or boyfriend have been cheating…all for a small sum of $4.99. All you do is tell the website ‘who you want to bust’ and ‘where they likely last used Tinder’, then the website will tell you ‘exactly if and when they were swiping’.
The (anonymous) founder said in an interview with Vanity Fair that ‘there is too much data about people that people themselves don’t know is available’. He contradictorily said that he’d like if Tinder made a bigger effort to keep users’ information private- the saying ‘pot calling the kettle black’ pops into my mind?
A Tinderspokesperson responded that ‘If you want to see who’s on Tinder we recommend saving your money and downloading the app for free’.
So, if you really want to find out if your significant other is on the dating app then your options are to pay a small fee to a website that will do the hard work for you, or you can scroll endlessly through Tinder until you find them.
Or, we could all employ a little more trust into our relationships/just ask them straight up if they’re on the app. But each to their own.
