Seriously - we don't think we can handle any more revelations about Sarah Jessica Parker's involvement with Sex and the City after this shocking news. First we learned that SJP nearly turned the role down and now it's been revealed that she didn't even remember filming the pilot.

In an interview for new short film series 'Makers' with AOL she said hardly remembers getting those first scenes as Carrie Bradshaw down on film: "I shot [the pilot episode] and honest to God truth, I completely forgot about it.

"I know no one will believe it. I forgot about it. I'm walking down the street one day and I run into this woman and she's a big fancy executive at a big movie studio. And she says to me, 'Oh My God, I just saw your pilot, Sex and the City.' And I said to her, 'What? What are you talking about?'"

Well we're definitely glad she remembered to show up to film the next episode, and the next five seasons.

Earlier we wrote...

Sex and the City has remained Sarah Jessica Parker's most memorable show, ever - but her husband Matthew Broderick has revealed that she wasn't that sure about Carrie Bradshaw at first. So much so, that she nearly turned the role down.

Seth Rudetsky, who worked with Matthew Broderick and the actress at a Broadway event, told US Vogue that he chatted to Matthew about it: "We, of course, talked about Sex and The City, and turns out, Sarah was reluctant to do the pilot because she didn't really want to do a series," he said.

"However she loved the script so she filmed it and then forgot about it. Months later she found out the show was picked up and she completely wanted to get out of it. I mean, completely."

He added: "She tried various ways to get out of it, including telling HBO that she would film three projects for free if they'd release her from her contract! Basically, they convinced her to honour her deal, and she now has no regrets."

We're relieved SJP didn't turn the role down - but we get why she might have had hesitations - lest we forget, Carrie Bradshaw can be a bit of a douche sometimes. Like when she says stuff like this:

Seth also hinted about a* Sex and the City 3* movie happening, the tease.
