If you're looking to book a festival for this summer and want to try something new, we've rounded up 14 UK festivals you should give a whirl. There's truly something for everyone.
WILD LIFE
Where: Brighton City Airport
When: 9th & 10th June
Line up: Fatboy Slim, Jess Glynne, Dizzee Rascal, Stormzy, J Hus, Clean Bandit and more
Why you should go: This summer marks only the third year of WILD LIFE festival, but with the last two year's being a huge success, this year is set to be one hell of a party. With performances from Stormzy, J Hus and Brighton's own Fatboy Slim, you'll want to get yourself down to the seaside.
Wireless
Where: Finsbury Park, London
When: 7th - 9th July
Line up: Chance The Rapper, The Weeknd, Skepta, Zara Larsson
Why you should go: Wireless is a great day out every year (and free of camping and tent hassle) and this year the Wireless stage is graced by Grammy Award winner Chance The Rapper and The Weeknd.
Lovebox
Where: Victoria Park, London
When: 14th - 15th July
Line up: Solange, Frank Ocean, Chase & Status, Jess Glynne
Why you should go: What started with Groove Armada and Jools, a box of records and a pack of heart-shaped Post-its...15 years on and the love continues to spread. Held across two days, east London invites you to dance to the finest DJ’s, live bands and be enchanted by art and dance performances. And for you late night owls - the party continues until sunrise across specially selected London clubs.
Latitude

Where: Henham Park, Southwold, Suffolk
When: 13th - 16th July
Line up: The 1975, Goldfrapp, Mumford and Sons, Fleet Foxes
Why you should go: Latitude was the first UK festival to combine music with art, literature, theatre, comedy and even yoga - fans of Edinburgh Festival Fringe will certainly have a great time. Set in the glorious Henham Park in Suffolk it offers gondola rides, hot tubs and pink sheep (yes, really!) - a cultural haven.
Wilderness
Where: Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire
When: 3rd - 6th August
Line up: Two Door Cinema Club, Grace Jones, Bonobo
Why you should go: The hipsters and bohemians flock to Wilderness year on year for the chilled vibe, gourmet food choices (Veuve Clicquot will bring champagne, along with Chiltern Firehouse's Chef, Nuno Mendes), theatre and art workshops. And this year Bonobo is headlining, so...
Secret Garden Party
Where: Abbots Ripton, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
When: 20th - 23rd July
Line up: Metronomy, Crystal Fighters, Eats Everything
Why you should go: Secret Garden Party is acclaimed for its immersive experience, both musically and visually. SGP regulars will know that raves in the woods, paint fights and flamboyant clothing are a given, and in the words of the Head Gardener: 'This isn't a festival it's a party.'
Citadel
Where: Victoria Park, London
When: 19th July
Line up: Foals, Wild Beasts, Bonobo, Laura Marling
Why you should go: Looking for a change to your usual lazy Sunday, then put your Sunday 'bestival' on (tea dress, glitter and a hat?). Dance to music from the likes of Hudson Taylor, and first time performance in London, A Blaze of Feather. Listen to politics, poets and rappers read you the Sunday papers. Indulge in mouth-watering food, from Patty & Bun and Annie Macs To The Future and burn it off on the Spandex Stage, making sure you hit The Cheese Truck straight after.
Isle Of Wight
Where: Seaclose Park, Isle of Wight
When: 8th - 11th June
Line up: David Guetta, Arcade Fire, Run DMC, Rod Stewart, Bastille
Why you should go: Isle of Wight kicks off the festival season, and never disappoints. Each year the festival celebrates the older, more iconic artists, and this year's line up does just the same.
Barclaycard presents Britsh Summer Time Hyde Park
Where: Hyde Park, London
When: 30th June, 1st July, 2nd July, 6th July, 8th July, 9th July
Line up: Kings of Leon, Justin Bieber, Green Day, Phil Collins, Stevie Nicks, The Lumineers, The Killers, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Martin Garrax and Tove Lo
Why you should go: For a great summer's day out seeing your favourite musical artists look no further than Barclaycard presents Britsh Summer Time festival at Hyde Park. Each year the guest list features A-list crowds, including Taylor Swift and her squad, so make sure you don't miss out!
Cornbury Music Festival
Where: The Great Tew Park, Cotswolds, Oxfordshire, UK
When: 7th - 9th July
Line up: Bryan Adams, Kaiser Chiefs, The Pretenders, Jools Holland
Why you should go: Cornbury is a charming little festival that riffs on a country fair vibe. It is deliciously British: fair rides, farmers' markets, morris dancing, homemade cakes - the works - and there's some great musical acts this year, too.
In The Woods
Where: Kent, UK
When: 1st - 2nd September
Line up: Past line ups included Liane La Havas, Jorja Smith, Alt J and AlunaGeorge
Why you should go: In The Woods was born from a small group of partying friends and has grown, over a decade later, into an enchanting, and fairy-light adorned festival set in a A Midsummer Night's Dream-esque woodland that prides itself on being clean and friendly and showcases some of the best up-and-coming artists.
The Big Feastival
Where: Alex James' Farm, The Cotswolds
When: 25th of 27th August
Line up: Olly Murs, Louisa Johnson, Madness, Gentlemen's Dub Club, The Cribs, Hacienda Classical
Why you should go: For those who love music and love food, The Big Feastival is where you should head at the end of the summer. The weekend is a unique experience and great for all the family.
V Festival
Where: Hylands Park, Chelmsford/ Weston Park, Staffordshire
When: 19th and 20th August
Line up: Jay Z, P!nk, Ellie Goulding, Craig David, Stormzy, Jess Glyne, George Ezra and Annie Mac
Why you should go: V Festival is cross-country, so more people can enjoy the pop chart-topping headliners such as P!nk and Ellie Goulding. Expect an A-list crowd to be in attendance.
Glastonbury
Where: Worthy Farm, Somerset
