Remember back in February when all we could talk about was Beauty and the Beast?

Well, due to popular demand the most Instagram-friendly way to celebrate the live-action remake has returned and will be available to book until June 2018.

The Town House at London’s Kensington Hotel hosts a Beauty and the Beast themed afternoon tea, taking its name from one of the film’s iconic lyrics. The ‘Tale As Old As Time’ tea promises a menu which takes inspiration from Disney’s version of the story, served with Mrs. Potts and Chip dishware. While your plates, cups and cutlery are unlikely to break out into a full song and dance number, we’re certainly willing to settle for anything that helps us channel Belle. Look closer at the glass tumblers and you’ll even see a subtle nod to the film’s enchanted rose…

Food-wise, on offer are a selection of sandwiches, from smoked salmon and crème fraiche to roast chicken and cranberry, as well as plenty of savoury and sweet treats that cleverly nod to the original Disney animation, from a cheese soufflé (as namechecked in ‘Be Our Guest’) to a Cogsworth-inspired chocolate clock tart and the ‘Try the grey stuff’ white chocolate mousse.

And if that isn't enough good news for one day, then you'll be pleased to learn that a special Christmas edition of the tea will also be on offer between the 1st and 31st December. Though we recommend booking fast, as it's sure to prove popular.

The ‘Tale As Old As Time’ afternoon tea will cost you £35 per person, or £45 with a glass of champagne. Be our guest...
