Avocado fans rejoice! There’s a new bar opening dedicated entirely to the photogenic green fruit.
Aptly named, Avocadoreia, the fast-food style cafe will serve healthy breakfast and lunch options all centred around the avocado. Alongside an extensive menu of avocado toast varieties (think avocado and rose-topped toast and avocado beetroot toast), they will also serve salads, smoothies, breakfast bowls and, of course, guacamole by the bucketload.
Unsurprisingly, Avocadoreia reckon they will get through between 50 and 100 avocados a day!
The idea is the brainchild of three friends from Italy, one of whom spent time living in the home of the avocado, Mexico. Inspired by the use of avocado in Mexican cuisine they wanted to put their own spin on this healthy superfood, and bring it to the masses.
The only catch: Avocadoreia is located in Brooklyn, New York.
Looks like we’ll be booking a trip to the Big Apple. Anything for a good snap, eh?
