There are some things many people seem to agree on - that coriander is a bit gross, that Ryan Gosling is incredibly fit, and that the word 'moist' is disgusting.
Well now underwear company Knix Wear have revealed the six most uncomfortable words for women - and it's not just moist that makes the list.
Teaming up with University of Pennsylvania linguist Mark Liberman, over 500 American women were surveyed to figure out the most commonly-hated words - which according to experts, are to do with 'word aversion', which is when the sound or sight of a phrase fills us with revulsion. Often it's because the words in question just sound weird - but as you'll see from this list, it could just be because they have gross connotations - so many have sexual meanings or have been used by people in a particularly vulgar way.
Ready to be repulsed? Here are the 6 words that gross women out:
1. Moist
No surprise there.
2. Squirt
Ditto.
3. Panties
YES. This is a word that makes us feel a little bit sick in an underwear shop.
4. Chunky
But what about out kit kat chunky?
5. Curd
Lemon curd tarts are now ruined forever.
6. Flap
Yep, we get this one.
