*Spoilers ahead*

XO Kitty

XO, Kitty quickly climbed its way to the Netflix top spot – and honestly, it’s no surprise. The perfect mix of cute yet chaotic, this South Korea-based drama has fans cancelling all their plans to binge-watch Kitty’s adventures at the Korean Independent School of Seoul (fittingly dubbed KISS).

A spin-off of Netflix’s mega-successful To All the Boys universe, XO, Kitty sees Lara Jean’s little sister, Kitty Song Covey, take centre stage. That is, the Kitty who sent Lara Jean’s love letters to all of her crushes, giving way to the chain of events that would eventually lead to hours spent staring at Noah Centineo’s face…

Season two of XO, Kitty dropped earlier this month, leaving us with the cliffhanger or all cliffhangers. But already, fans of the teen drama are desperate to know when – and if – a season three will land.

Here’s everything we know about XO, Kitty season three, including release date and cast…

Is there going to be an XO, Kitty season three?

Alas, Netflix haven’t yet confirmed whether there will be a XO, Kitty season three.

However, this doesn’t automatically mean bad news. The show made it to the Netflix number one spot within 24 hours of its release, meaning the demand is clearly there! Netflix also waited a month after finishing season one before announcing a second season was coming, so there’s plenty of time for an announcement.

Plus, considering the way season two ended, we’re thinking there’s a very good chance that season two could be on the way…

When will XO, Kitty season three be released?

Until the show is confirmed as being renewed, we don’t have an official date for when he can expect to catch us with the group again.

But there is a silver lining: we might not have to wait as long as we did between season one and two. Season One was released in May 2023, with season two not landing until January 2025. The reason it took so long was because the 2023 actors and writers strikes led to delays – otherwise the series may have landed on the streaming platform much sooner. Taking that into consideration, and the fact that Netflix are pretty good at churning out the goods, we may be seeing season three as soon as early 2026!

Who will return for XO, Kitty season three?

Again, we can only speculate with this one until further details are released – but we do have some ideas.

Given there’s plenty of love triangles and teen drama still to happen, it’s thought that Kitty (Anna Cathcart), Dae (Minyeong Choi), Q (Anthony Keyvan), Yuri (Gia Kim), Min-ho (Sang Heon Lee), Jin (Joshua Lee), Julian (Regan Aliyah), Praveena (Sasha Bhasin), Alex (Peter Thurnwald) and Principal Jina Lim (Yunjin Kim) will return for another season.

However, *spoiler alert ahead* there is one member of the cast who fans are guessing may not return.

Season Two saw Stella/Esther’s (played by Audrey Huynh) big secret exposed. With the character seen moving back to the USA, some fans are thinking it’s unlikely that she’ll be back on our screens to cause any drama.

Also unlikely to appear again is Noah Centineo (who played heartthrob Peter Kavinsky in the To All The Boys film franchise). He did make a swoon-worthy appearance in season two, however it seems his cameo was more spontaneous than planned. According to Netflix, Noah happened to be in South Korea filming scenes for his own Netflix series, The Recruit – meaning he’s probably not aiming to come back as a recurring character.

What could happen in XO, Kitty season three?

Season two wrapped up with Kitty bagging herself a scholarship to stay at KISS for another year – and as if that wasn’t enough, she also came to the realisation that she has feelings for the skincare obsessed Min-ho. Of course, Kitty decides to wear her heart on her sleeve – but before she can come clean, she discovers Min-ho is getting ready to spend the summer on tour with his brother. Of course, Kitty being Kitty, she asks to tag along.

Just like that, XO, Kitty season two finishes with the cliffhanger of all cliffhangers. Will Kitty and Min-ho spend the summer together? Will their romance stand the test of time? Will it all come crashing down by the time they all return to KISS?

Frankly, we need season three to drop now – because, oh boy, do we have questions.
