A self-confessed 'old soul' who loves darts and bird watching, Tyler has admitted he has a keen eye for spotting a liar, and is good at reading people - two qualities which could help him on the show.

Tyler is a barber from Leicester, who couldn't be more excited to join The Traitors UK cast. Like Joe, who is a school teacher, Tyler believes his job stands him in good stead for success on the show.
'I think my job sets me up well. Every day I'm gaining trust as I cut people's hair. They're chatting to me about upcoming weddings and birthdays, if they're going on holiday so I feel like I can gain people's trust quite easily,' he told the BBC. 'Also, I feel like I can adapt to any situation [...] I like getting to know people’s stories and when I'm talking to someone, I can kind of feel if they're telling the truth or not. I'm a good reader of people so I bring that as well.'

Why did Tyler apply for The Traitors UK?
Tyler is a fan of The Traitors UK. He told the BBC that he was watching the first season with his mum and said 'I'm going to apply for that, I reckon I'd be good on it' to which is mums replied, 'go for it.' He added: 'When I applied, I didn’t expect to get on at all! I just love the game, if this was just a local game, not on television or anything like that I’d still go for it because I just love it.'
And it seems Tyler has got his eyes firmly set on the prize. 'It excites me,' he said. 'I do want to win. That's my main objective. It's like the old saying, I'm not there to take part, I'm there to win.'
Is Tyler a Traitor or a Faithful on The Traitors UK?
Tyler is a Faithful. He hoped he'd be a faithful during casting, but said he'd 'adapt' to being a Traitor too, if he was picked.
As for his tactics on the show, Tyler told the BBC he will be gravitating towards the older players, because he sees himself as an 'old soul.'
'I can't trust younger people. I don't know what it is but I don't trust them. I'm more mates with my dad's mates. I've got mates my own age but what I'm saying is I tend to do more stuff with my older friends, like I go to Northern Soul nights and I'm the only young one there,' he said. 'I go to darts on a Thursday night, and I like bird watching. It's all older people. I feel like, in there, if I'm a Faithful, I'll be more towards the older people and getting them on side. Although one of them could be a Traitor of course!'
Is Tyler a favourite to be murdered on The Traitors UK?
Tyler might have survived so far, but some bookmakers are predicting he could be the next person to be axed from the show. James Leyfield, a TV expert for Gambling.com, explained that Tyler was the second most likely to be murdered next on Friday's episode. The favourite for the killer exit was Charlotte, who is pretending to be Welsh on the show.
Tyler proved the bookies wrong this time, but we will have to wait until later this week to see if he can do it again.

I wake up in the morning and where some people might dread having to go to work, I can’t wait to get there and just start talking to people, cutting people’s hair, making them look good and that makes me feel good,' he said. 'It’s the best thing I’ve ever done. I’ve been doing it for five years now. It’s the best decision I’ve ever made in my life.'
