Selling Sunset season eight had all the reality real estate ingredients: eye-watering properties, sartorial statements, and drama that played out on social media before the episodes even aired.

While tension among the Oppenheim Group agents is not exclusive to season eight, a few of the reality star realtors have made some strong claims regarding their future on the show - and this is even before season nine has been renewed.

At this stage, with the fallout from season eight showing no signs of letting up, it's difficult to predict what Selling Sunset's next instalment could look like. As fans of the Netflix series await further news, some of the stars have been taking a no-holds-barred approach to commenting on the drama on their personal social media accounts. And amid the speculation that there won't be a Selling Sunset season eight reunion to answer our burning questions, we will likely have to wait even longer to see where the rocky land lies at the Oppenheim Group.

Chelsea Lazkani says she's 'out' if Amanda Lynn joins Selling Sunset

In season eight, Bre Tiesi met up with her friend and fellow real estate agent Amanda Lynn, who claimed that Chelsea Lazkani's husband Jeff Lazkani was seen getting cosy with another woman. Initially appreciative that Bre had made her aware, Chelsea later began to question her co-star's motives and accused her of manipulating the scene for Selling Sunset viewing.

Writing on X, Chelsea claimed, 'Outside of filming Amanda contacted Bre about “tea” - while filming, Bre orchestrated a fake call during her showing which “led to a sit-down scene with Amanda” …in other words: she set this scene up with production, already knowing said tea to bring it to TV.'

She continued, 'I hear what is swirling while filming, and I ask production to set up a scene with Bre. I did this so she could tell me directly, so that it’s not [passed] around to a trillion people before me. Hope this helps!'

At the end of season eight, Bre invited Amanda to the Oppenheim Group, where the prospect of her joining as an agent was raised. But since discriminatory tweets of Amanda's from 2012 resurfaced - which she has voiced regret over - Chelsea took a firm stand.

She tweeted, 'Made it clear and putting it in writing, if racist Amanda is on the show as a cast member. I’m out [sic]'.

Chrishell Stause 'will never work on a show' with Nicole Young again

Before Selling Sunset season eight dropped on Netflix - but after she'd watched advanced screeners - Chrishell Stause hit out at Nicole Young over her claims in the show that Emma Hernan had had an affair with a married man. Emma has since shut down the rumours and said she was 'completely blindsided', but her co-stars and close friends have firmly backed her corner.

Taking to Instagram ahead of season eight airing, Chrishell shared a series of stories with a poll regarding Nicole Young, writing, ‘Someone needs to take my phone [because] [angry emojis]. Are we really still giving airtime to LIARS that just want airtime??’

She continued, 'I will NEVER work on a show with her on it again. I would rather be sued.’

‘Disclaimer when you watch: Just know she spews a disgusting lie about a bestie that is categorically FALSE and SUPER damaging. It is NOT TRUE. [and] @done_and_done_productions you are disgusting for blindsiding [my friend] with this to see with the world instead of letting her at LEAST defend herself with the TRUTH.’

Discussing how she feels about Nicole, Chrishell also told Extra TV, 'I will never work in a show with her again. After eight seasons and seeing someone systematically try to plot against several people, why are we giving her more airtime? When somebody's just hungry for camera time and lies, the audience is over it.

'I just have a moral code that doesn't want to be involved with something that would give her more airtime. There's real-life drama with our cast. It's way more interesting for people that authentically share their lives as opposed to this. Nicole is nothing but a complete liar.'

Emma Hernan has 'mixed emotions' about returning to Selling Sunset

Emma has admitted she's conflicted about returning to Selling Sunset, after only just learning of what Nicole was speculating about her private life during season eight filming.

Vulture asked, 'Are you so fed up with the way this went down that you’re just done with the show, or are you open to coming back?', to which Emma replied, 'I have mixed emotions on that right now. I just found out about this about a week ago and then the world just found out about it this past Friday, and now I’m getting the heat of it all now. So I’m kind of in the middle of it. But I definitely don’t agree with how things transpired. So it’s something that I really need to think about because I didn’t come on the show to show that people can talk about you and you cannot have a voice, and people can make up lies and get a platform to do this.'
