Who is Maranda ‘Mjae’ Johnson from WAGs To Riches?
Another reality realtor, similar to many of her WAGs To Riches co-stars, Mjae works for Allure Realty – owned by Sharelle Rosado. Mjae joined the company at just 21 years old. Also an entrepreneur, Mjae is the founder and CEO of Seven Luke Cosmetics.
Mjae has been in an on/off relationship with rapper Kodak Black since 2017. The pair share two children – a daughter called Queen Yuri, born 22 Jan 2022, and a son called Prince Kapri, born 27 Feb 2024.
Speaking about their relationship on WAGs To Riches Mjae shared, ‘The bad things that come along with dating an artist is all the little girls. They're like flies that won't go away. You just gotta swat them b***hes. They're just annoying. But long as your man have self-control... Some men do. Some don't.’
As was documented on WAGs To Riches, last year Mjae was arrested for burglary, battery and grand theft last year following an alleged fight with Jammiah Broomfield – the mother of Kodak’s first child.
Explaining the incident on the show, Mjae said that she and the kids had been invited by Kodak to his boat but she couldn’t make it so the kids attended with their grandmother. Another of Kodak’s children’s mothers was there and, Mjae claims, made several videos of herself dancing knowing that they would provoke her. As a result of their fight Mjae spent a night in prison.
Talking about the incident, Mjae revealed, ‘She told him I touched her car door, opened her car door. The door was already motherf**kin' open 'cause she was trying to mace me. I kicked the mace out of her hand.’ Jammiah doesn't seem to have publicly commented on the situation.
Earlier this week, it was also reported that Maranda was involved in a fight at her daughter Queen Yuri’s birthday party. However, although police were called, guests were reportedly unwilling to press charges. Mjae has not yet publicly commented on this recent event.
Who is Kodak Black?
A rapper, singer and songwriter by profession, Kodak’s biggest hit is Zeze featuring Travis Scott and Offset which peaked at No.2 in 2022 and has received sextuple platinum certification.
A father of five with four different women, Kodak has faced serious allegations of misconduct. He was accused of rape in 2016 but was eventually given a plea bargain in 2021 to the lesser offence of assault and battery and sentenced to 18 months probation. Then, in 2019, he was arrested for making false statements to possess weapons and was sentenced to four years in prison but his sentence was commuted by then President Donald Trump in 2021 just before he left office.
