The Traitors season three is well underway – and one of this year’s Faithfuls hoping to hunt down Traitors and take home the prize pot is contestant Leon Jackman. The star survived Wednesday’s ‘death match,’ with Fozia losing and being sent home. However, it left his fellow Faithful with questioning whether a Traitor could have selected themselves to play the game…

With suspicions on the rise and his future in the castle uncertain, here’s everything to know about The Traitors UK star Leon.

Who is Leon from The Traitors UK?

40-year-old Leon hails from the East Midlands, and is currently a Faithful on Season 3 of The Traitors UK.

The retail store manager hopes that his charisma will give him a boost in the game, saying ‘I’m quite charismatic. I’m a Gemini, so I can be like a smiling assassin! I think that I’m very bubbly and I get along with everyone. Being a store manager, I’ve worked my way through different retail corporations, and I’ve often been in situations where people make assumptions about me based on the way I look – for example, I’ve got a gold tooth.’

‘I’ve worked alongside people of various backgrounds, and I love breaking down stereotypes that people might have. There are not often people that don’t like me, so I think that will work to my advantage.’

Why did Leon apply for The Traitors UK?

Before entering the show, Leon admitted that the dynamic of The Traitors is what lured him in.

He shared, ‘The Traitors really grabbed my attention. I like the fact that everyone is working towards the same goal in the tasks and putting money in the pot, but then as soon as that task is finished, it’s weird how it’s suddenly a different game that you’re all playing. I just really wanted to be a part of it.’

Is Leon from The Traitors married?

Leon is married, and shares a 12 year old son with his wife. Before entering the game, Leon gave a hint at his life with his family – saying, ‘When I play Mario Kart with my son, he’s 12 and autistic, I rarely let him win! He’s gotten better over time so he does beat me, it’s a good father-son rivalry.’

What will Leon spend the prize money on?

Opening up about how he’d spend his winnings, Leon said, ‘First I’ll have to check with the boss – my wife – and see what’s going on.’

‘If I win, that’s great, because obviously there are bills to pay and the cost of living has gone up. I’d like to sort my garden shed out; we need a new shed! And there are little things around the house that I would like to get sorted out.'

But don't expect any grand displays from down-to-earth Leon. He said, 'I’m never thinking we’re going to go and jet off around the world and I’ll just quit my job! My main thing Is always family, so I’d also want to give my mum some money for all the sacrifices she made when I was growing up.’
