Love Island: We’re Furious For Teddy – And Faye Too

Ah,Casa Amor{ =nofollow}- or should we say Casa Homewrecker? The worst stage of Love Island is truly underway, as the boys are living in a separate villa with six new women, ready to turn their heads. This year, most of the men have thrown any loyalties out the window - so, to add to the drama, producers decided to bring back the dreaded postcard...

Apart from they massively messed with Faye and Teddy. For what looks like no good reason.

At first, it looked first Teddy could potentially stray. But in last night's episode he said how he felt like he had never missed a 'bird' - we'll ignore that he called Faye a bird - so much in all his life. He's been sleeping on the day bed, and unlike most of the men in Casa, has actually been a nice guy.

So then why did producers decide to include a picture of Teddy kissing one of the girls in the truth or dare challenge? (Jake, with Liberty, has also been kissing women in challenges - but this wasn't shown on the postcard.) Social media erupted last night, because it just seemed so woefully unfair.

Especially when Liam was just pictured sleeping in a bed, when he's been pretty much the least loyal of the lot (a tie with Tyler, coupled with Kaz in the main villa). If anything, Millie should be warned that Liam is most definitely going to walk back at the recoupling with Lillie, one of the new girls from Casa Amor.

And while 'Justice for Teddy' was fully alive on Love Island Twitter last night, it also isn't fair on Faye. While she had an iconic reaction, strutting back out in her entrance bikini to flirt with the men from Casa - producers really, quite unfairly, played on her insecurities. She might have jokingly shouted when the boys left for Casa 'THIS IS WHY I DON'T OPEN UP, BECAUSE THEY LEAVE!' but there was obviously an element of truth there, as she has spoken about how difficult she finds to trust men.

And now, she's worrying that Teddy is going to walk back with a new woman at the recouping - when he's probably going to stay loyal. Meaning Faye is probably going to recouple. And it's just going to be a horrible mess. We just hope they survive this. Grazia writer Georgia Aspinall tweeted a throwback which gives us some hope, though. 'Remember when Megan recoupled in Casa Amor but Wes came back alone so they just... got back together? That's what I'm manifesting for Teddy and Faye.'
