It’s been a while since we’ve had any Stranger Things news, but fear not because today we’re bringing you some season 2 gossip. Six months ahead of the season reveal Netflix, the cast have been building some hype around season two. We thank you cast.

Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike, told Emmy Magazine that this season might be scarier than the previous: ‘I think this season will be a lot [darker]. A lot more horror oriented.’ He also added that the character’s face more ‘disturbing’ challenges, are you scared? I won’t lie, I’m pretty terrified for the fate of the characters, I mean…they faced extremely disturbing challenges in season one. Just how much more disturbing can it get? Please can someone keep Will Byers out of harms way. PLEASE.

Given that the new season will be released on Halloween, we’re expecting big (read: spooky) things. We’re also going to learn more about our favourite characters and their families. Yes, we are talking about Dustin and Lucas <3. Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin, mentioned that ‘you’re going to see a lot more into the lives of how the characters are coping with what’s been going on…they’re all very emotionally scarred. They feel alone because their best friend is back and he’s not acting like their best friend anymore. He’s changed.’ To be honest, we’re not surprised he’s changed. You try living in the upside-down world with a monster, hardly able to breathe and scared shitless. Tough times.

Roll on hiding behind a pillow while watching season two. Stranger Things, we’re ready for you…kinda.
