Netflix have FINALLY released something for Barb Stranger Things fans. About bloody time Netflix (but thanks), now we can finally start to process the whole Barb thing.
The two-minute clip, titled ‘Minute By Minute with Brenda Wood’ was released on Halloween, spooky. It’s described as an ‘archival newsreel from 5 WIYZ Hawkins, Indiana,’ and is made out to be a missing persons news clip for Barb.
News presenter Brenda Wood talks about how they reached out to her closest friend, Nancy, but they were ‘unable to reach her’ – she was probably too upset, we get that. She then goes on to say how Barbs friends would describe her, and this is where it all gets a bit too much.
They ‘praised her as someone who is loyal to a fault to Nancy. The kind of girl who notices if you’re wearing a new bra and can really rock a pair of mom jeans, or as we call them now ‘jeans.’ Barb4ever. Barb4life. We <3 you Barb.
Thanks Netflix for keeping the Barb dream alive ahead of season two. And this isn’t the only Stranger Things news today, dundundunnnn. According to TV Line, Millie Bobby Brown will be returning for season two, even though they had previously stated that they didn’t ‘know about Eleven, we’ll leave that up in the air.’ Netflix have declined to comment, but Millie has been hinting massively on her own Instagram account so we’e going to take that as a massive YES. Now all we need is Barb back.
