Picture the scene: you settle down for a solid four-hour (at least) Netflix session, only to fall asleep (there was a heavy chill vibe) and wake up two seasons into the show. Absolute nightmare, right?
I mean, what if you wake up and the season finale is taking place? What if you can’t remember where you got to before you fell asleep? It’s a logistical minefield.
Now picture this scene: you settle down for a solid four-hour (at least) Netflix session, only to fall asleep (there was a heavy chill vibe) and then wake up with the show paused at the exact moment you dropped into your slumber.
‘But how?’ I hear you ask. Well, because you’re wearing socks that do this for you. WHAT. I know.
Netflix has developed socks which do just this because they know the #struggle. There’s just one catch. A tiny, little catch that, you know, isn’t really a catch at all if you really think about it: you have to make them yourself.
Netflix has put together a comprehensive guide on how to make them and, as well as the electrical materials (and a pair of socks), all you’ll need is an understanding of electronics and micro-controller programming. Oh, and be comfortable around a soldering iron. Easy.
OK, who are we kidding. For now, we’ll just have to put up with the fact that they’re not real and wait until some hero inveitably cashes in on this idea and starts flogging them. Watch this space.
