Disney + will soon be upon us, and with coronavirus gripping the nation, it couldn't come at a better time. The streaming service does exactly what it says on the tin, opening the archives to the Disney vault as well as some exciting additional content that will keep you occupied: all Marvel films, Star Wars movies, an impressive range of National Geographic documentaries and, to top it all off, The Simpsons. All 673 episodes. While you settle in, though, keep an ear out: some of the world's most beloved celebrities have lent their voices as guest stars. Here are Grazia's favourites.

Meryl Streep

Leave it to Meryl Streep to be good in absolutely everything. Her Simpsons cameo stands out as one of the greatest in the series' history. She plays Jessica, daughter of Reverend Lovejoy, who is secretly deliciously devious. Naturally, Bart falls hook, line and sinker for her, and ends up framed for theft. 'If you tell, no one will believe you', Meryl teases. 'Remember I’m the sweet, perfect minister’s daughter… and you’re just yellow trash.' Ouch..

Reese Witherspoon

It's not often that Milhouse gets some romance, but he manages it in Episode 280, The Bart Wants What it Wants. Bart meets, woos and dumps Greta Wolfcastle - voiced by the Oscar-winning star of Big Little Lies. By the time he realises he's made a mistake, she's dating his best friend Milhouse. Chaos ensues.

Michelle Pfeiffer

Why anyone would want to cheat on Marge Simpson is beyond us. But Homer comes very, very close with Mindy, his attractive new co-worker voiced by Catwoman herself, Michelle Pfeiffer. In The Last Temptation Of Homer, Michelle makes Mindy playful and naive, rather than overtly seductive. But still, we're glad Homer did the right thing.

Kathleen Turner

Kathleen is a Hollywood great. Romancing The Stone. Body Heat. Serial Mom. All classics. And even her role as Chandler's father in Friends is a highlight. But she really made an impact in Simpsons episode Lisa vs. Malibu Stacy. In it, Lisa pledges to transform how dolls are marketed to girls, and fights to make them more feminist. To do so, she harangues the woman who created Stacy, voiced expertly with Kathleen's iconic, husky tones.

Lisa Kudrow

Friends star Lisa voiced Alex Whitney in Lard Of The Dance, the first episode of The Simpsons' tenth season. Alex was a new girl at school who won everyone over with her fashion sense and mobile phone (remember how the cool kids were the first ones to have mobiles?) with Lisa offering her best spoiled brat depiction with just a hint of Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion. Naturally, the other Lisa - Simpson, that is - was not a fan.

Gillian Anderson

Before she delighted us with her depiction of the most embarrassing, yet endearing mother in history in Sex Education, Gillian rose to stardom via sci-fi hit The X Files. That whirlwind led to a cameo on The Simpsons episode The Springfield Files, where she and her partner Mulder - played by David Duchovny - arrive in town to investigate a mysterious alien sighting. Both Gillian and David claim that they barely remember recording it, but it's still a classic.

Bette Midler

The Divine Miss M jumped into action when Krusty The Clown faced the end of his much-loved show in Krusty Gets Cancelled. After Bart and Lisa find her picking up rubbish at the side of the road - and making one litterbug wish they had never been born - she saves the day with a song. As always.

Who are your favourites? You might have to schedule a rewatch to find out. See you in a few months.
