If you've watchedNetflix', then you might have tried to find Simon Leviev's Instagram page. As was frequently shown in the programme, the fraudster allegedly used a lavish Instagram profile - filled with photos of Leviev in designer clothes on private jets - to help dupe the women he was matching with into thinking he was actually the son of a billionaire diamond mogul.

Simon, real name Shimon Hayut, is accused of defrauding women out of millions of dollars, after gaining their trust by taking them out on extremely fancy dates.

One of the women in the documentary, Cecilie Fjellhøy, describes how he took her on a private jet to Bulgaria at the end of their first date. But, after a few weeks of dating her, she claims he then persuaded her to take out loans and set up credit cards in her name.

The day after the documentary dropped, Simon gained over 200,000 followers on Instagram. But it didn't last long, as the conman deleted his account - and promised to tell followers his 'side of the story'. 'I will share my side of the story in the next few days when I have sorted out the best and most respectful way to tell it, both to the involved parties and myself,' he wrote. 'Until then, please keep an open mind and heart.' As was revealed at the end of the show, Hayut is still a free man - he served five months of a 15-month prison sentence in Israel for fraud charges in 2019, but these charges were not related to conning Cecilie, Pernilla Sjöholm, and Ayleen Charlotte who featured in the documentary.

Currently, the documentary is the most watched programme in the UK on Netflix. And over the weekend, Cecilie, Pernilla and Ayleen have set up a GoFundMe to help try and pay off their debts. The page's description reads: 'You’re probably here because you’ve heard about our story, and we appreciate you taking the time to search and find this page. The past few days have been a whirlwind, and we three (Ayleen, Pernilla and Cecilie) have been completely shocked and floored by the flood of compassion and support from everyone. The sheer love is more than we ever expected, and we appreciate you all so much.'
