Sex Education is finally back. And we feel like we've been waiting our whole lives for it tbh. And we wouldn't expect any less, but the reviews are in - and they're pretty damn good. The Independent say it 'makes even its most explicit material seem sweet and charming', meanwhile The Guardian awarded it a mightily impressive five stars, saying it is 'fast, funny and still not for the faint-hearted'. People on social media are already asking for a third season - really, it's that good.

As last series, the show centres around Otis (Asa Butterfield) - the son of sex therapist Jean (Gillian Anderson).

But, not all is rosy (and there's a few tiny spoilers below). Describing the plot, Netflix have said that a chlamydia outbreak impacts Moordale Secondary. And that new characters are set to disrupt the status quo. We can also expect Maeve and Aimee’s friendship to get even stronger, since she ditched 'The Untouchables'. Also, Jean and Jakob's (Mikael Persbrandt) relationship is discovered - and they have to learn how to operate as a blended family.

Also returning to the series are Eric (Ncuti Gatwa), who has a new found confidence, and Adam (Connor Swindells), who is still conflicted about his feelings towards Eric.

Netflix also tease that Lily has hit pause on her sexual endeavours to focus on her creative talents and finds a new found friend in Ola. And that Jackson is forced to flex his mental rather than physical muscle and is still buckling under the pressure from his parents to succeed.
