We’ve spent most of this year’s Bake Off swooning over the heartthrob that is Selasi. His cool and collected demeanour captured the nation’s heart but this week our worst fears came true. Fondant fancies got the better of him and he became the ninth contenstant to leave the show, a week before the final.

But fear not, Selasi’s got big plans and great news for all you Londoner’s out there, he wants to bring his baking prowess to the city.

‘I do love banking but I’m hoping to open a bakery somewhere in west London in the foreseeable future’ he told the Radio Times.

If that wasn’t enough, the Ghaniain banker also wants take his baking wisdom beyond British shores and even has plans to release a book:

‘My immediate adventure however, is a motorbike/baking tour across Europe which I’m currently planning’, he said. ‘I hope to share all the recipes I learn in a book.’

This definitely won't be the last we see of our favourite suave biking banker.
