The second series of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives arguably dropped even more bombshells than its first, and we weren’t even sure that was possible.
If you’re unfamiliar with the show, it follows a group of Mormon mom influencers in Utah after they went viral on TikTok in 2022 for being caught up in a ‘soft swinging’ scandal- hence them constantly referring to MomTok. The show was a surprise hit, quickly becoming Hulu's most-watched unscripted season premiere of 2024, and fans could hardly wait for the second season to drop.
Like the first series, season two had plenty of drama for viewers to sink their teeth into. Demi Engemann became this season’s villain and fell out with fellow Mormon wife Jessi Ngatikaura, Taylor Frankie Paul struggled to save her marriage to Dakota Mortensen, and although drugs and alcohol are strictly forbidden in Mormon culture, Jen Affleck- whose husband Zac is not related to Ben Affleck, don't be fooled by the rumours- was able to make an exception for her ketamine therapy.
The show also starred Mikayla Matthews, Whitney Leavitt, Mayci Neeley, Layla Taylor- who all returned from season one- and newcomer Miranda McWhorter.
Now, viewers are already wondering when we’ll get another serving of Salt Lake City drama. So, will we be getting a season three? Here’s everything we know so far…
Will there be a season three of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives?
Yes! When Hulu picked up the show for a second series they ordered twenty episodes, but so far only ten have aired. Whether that means we’ll be seeing a third series or a series two part two is unclear, but either way we’ll be getting more episodes in the near future.
When can we watch The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season three?
It’s unclear when we’ll see more of this reality tv gold, but since there was eight months between the first and second seasons, our guess is that the next set of episodes will premier early next year.
Who will return for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season three?
So far, we don’t know who is returning for the third series. Considering season two had a new arrival in Miranda McWhorter, there is the possibility of even more Mormon wives joining for the third instalment.
