We’ve all finally been granted the first look at Reese Witherspoonand Jennifer Aniston’s upcoming series, The Morning Show.

The show, which will be coming to Apple TV in the autumn, follows Aniston, Witherspoon and Steve Carell as morning news anchors.

The first-look teaser intersperses quotes from the stars seemingly arguing about the importance of TV news.

A trip through the studio builds up to Witherspoon's character insisting, ‘[Viewers] want to trust that the person who is telling the truth about the world is an honest person.’

Previously talking about the plot, Reese has said, ‘In The Morning Show, we pull back the curtain on the power dynamics between men and women in the high-stakes world of morning news shows. It’s a real insider’s view into the lives of the people who help America wake up every day.’

Jen added, ‘Through the prism of those under-slept, over-adrenalized people behind and in front of the camera. We take an honest look at the complex relationships between women and men in the workplace and we engage in the conversation people are a little too afraid to have unless they’re behind closed doors.’

The Morning Show also boasts Black Mirror's San Junipero star Gugu Mbatha-Raw, _Informer'_s Bel Powley, Big Mouth actor Mark Duplass and Gypsy's Billy Crudup.

Now we just need to find out when the series is set to air, as it sounds far more exciting than what we usually watch at breakfast time.
