From Belgravia to Chelsea, London is home to some of the world’s uber-rich. Now, we’re about to meet six of them in Hayu’s new reality show. One of those ready to add Housewife to her already booming resume is Amanda Cronin – model, socialite, and millionaire entrepreneur.
Opening up about joining the show, Amanda told Grazia, ‘People have said I was born for this. When I told my friend Peter Thomas Roth, the big skincare guy in America, he said, “Congrats. I know you, and I know you really wanted this.” Maybe subliminally I did. When the Real Housewives come along and knock on your door, you’re an idiot to say no.’

Amanda Cronin is a former model turned entrepreneur who has now joined the cast of Real Housewives of London. Opening up about joining the show, Amanda told Grazia, ‘This is the biggest platform and franchise for business, profile, whatever you want to get out of it. I was just very excited. I went in strong, and I wanted it.’

Nicknamed as ‘longest legs in Belgravia,’ British-born Amanda has lived quite the jet set life. Over the years she’s been lucky enough to call the Mediterranean, Monaco, and the Swiss Mountains her home, before returning to settle in London.
Revealing that her trips abroad spurred her love for the glam life, Amanda shares, ‘I used to live in Monaco for 12 years, where [fashion] was on another level. I got into overdressing. Then I kind of toned it down when I came back to London – but now I’ve ramped it up again! It comes very naturally to me – accessorising, and doing hair and makeup. I’m an ex-model! It’s so girly.’

The star was first scouted to be a model when she was just a teenager - but after being diagnosed with skin cancer in her 30s, Amanda turned her focus to skincare. In 2022, she launched her skincare brand, Amanda Caroline Skincare, which focuses on anti-aging. She also owns The Amanda Caroline Secret Door Clinic in Belgravia, offering specialised treatments for the face, body, and mind delivered by top experts.
As for TV, RHOL isn’t Amanda’s first foray. The star previously appeared in Channel 4’s The Millionairess and Me, where she invited film maker Martin Read into her glamorous world.
Although her day to day life in London is utterly luxe, Amanda tells us that she does like to escape every so often. ‘I take myself off to nature when I can,’ she says, ‘and I get very simple and down to earth, which I think helps to reset. I’m drawn to the ocean, I love to go and be very quiet.’
Is Amanda Cronin married?
Amanda married Monaco energy mogul Mark Daeche in 2013, however the pair split in 2019. She famously dated Wham! Singer Andrew John Ridgeley in summer 2022, and shares a daughter names Sofia, 27, from a previous marriage.
Revealing that her Housewives debut marks a new era for her, Amanda shared, ‘I came out of a marriage, started a company, bought property, now the TV show, and I’ve been on a healing journey. It’s just my time. I’ve lived in the shadow of men all my life. This is all about me, the spotlight is on me. I really hope it’s going to inspire other women to really just go for it.’
