Love Is Blind fans were left in shock when Ollie Sutherland from last year’s UK series and AD Smith from season 6 of the US version announced their engagement after meeting on Perfect Match.
Ollie, 32, and 33-year-old AD – whose real name is Amber Desiree – revealed their engagement in a stunning video which showed Ollie popping the question in a romantic proposal set on a beach covered in floral decorations.
‘You’re my best friend. You’re the love of my life,’ he says. ‘I’ve never felt as happy or as complete as I have since I met you, and nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life loving you. Amber Desiree Smith, will you marry me?’
It turns out the pair met on what has been described as ‘the Hunger Games of dating’ – Perfect Match.
Filming for the show’s third season took place last year and has clearly already made one couple who are looking likely to go the distance in the form of Ollie and AD.
But for those of you who are yet to indulge in the mix-and-match dating show, let us fill you in.
What is Perfect Match?
Perfect Match, hosted by Love Is Blind US host Nick Lachey, sends some of our favourite faces from the Netflix universe and throws them into a Love Island style villa where they compete in compatibility games to find out who is their – you guessed it – Perfect Match!
Who will be on Perfect Match Season 3?
So far, only Ollie Sutherland from Love Is Blind UK and AD Brown from Love Is Blind US season 6 have been confirmed to take part in season 3 of Perfect Match.
However, reality TV super sleuth fans think they have detected who else will be taking part and, for the first time, it seems familiar faces from outside of the Netflix universe will appear.
The rumoured cast also features Justine Ndiba (Love Island USA), Quori Tyler (The Circle USA), Hannah Burns (The Mole), Juliette Porter (Siesta Key), Rachel Recchia (Bachelor Nation), Lucy Syed (Too Hot To Handle), Holly Scarfone (Too Hot To Handle), Naomi Lynn (Temptation Island), Olivia Rae (Temptation Island), Louis Russell (Too Hot To Handle), Jalen Olomu-Brown (Too Hot To Handle), Scott Van-Der-Sluis (Love Island UK & USA), Carrington Rodriguez (Love Island USA), Blake Moynes (Bachelor Nation), Ray Gantt (Love Island USA) and Freddie Powell (Love Is Blind UK).
It is believed that an unnamed star from Love Is Blind USA season 7 and a returnee from Perfect Match season 2 will complete the line-up.
Who won Perfect Match seasons 1 & 2?
The first season of Perfect Match, which aired in 2023, was won by Dom Gabriel, who found fame on The Mole, and Georgia Hassarati, who found fame on Too Hot To Handle.
2024’s season two was won by Christine Obanor and Nigel Jones, who both previously starred on different seasons of Too Hot To Handle.
However, the show is yet to live up to its name as both couples split shortly after the show aired.
When will Perfect Match Season 3 air?
As of yet, it has only been announced that Perfect Match season 3 will air this summer.
