Get ready for some serious 90s nostalgia: the Pam & Tommy biopic is here. The eight part series on Disney+ charts the tumultuous relationship and whirlwind wedding of Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson and Mötley Crue drummer Tommy Lee - aka one of the most iconic celebrity couples in pop culture history. Of course, a great deal of their notoriety is down to their leaked honeymoon sex tape, and the TV series also delves into the story behind that scandal.
Starring Lily James and Sebastian Stan, here are all the details on the Pam & Tommy cast - and the real life people they play...
Lily James is Pamela Anderson
To play the Baywatch star, actress Lily James wore a prosthetic body suit with a 'chest plate' to mimic Pam’s surgically-enhanced figure. Each day on set, the hair and make up team would spend up to four hours perfecting her blonde wig, fake tan and make up to nail Pam's signature look.
Pam & Tommy starts at the height of Pamela's fame, when she was starring as C.J. Parker in Baywatch. She met Tommy in 1995 and the pair got married just four days later .
Sebastian Stan as Tommy Lee
Avengers star Sebastian Stan had to shed his superhero muscles to become rock star Tommy Lee. The Pam & Tommy make up team recreated Tommy's many tattoos - including the word 'mayhem' across the torso - with temporary tats, which had to be replaced every couple of days. The nipple rings Sebastian Stan wears are fakes, too.
Tommy Lee's band Mötley Crue were huge in the 80s - and he amassed a multi-million fortune in the process, the show starts with him renovating his Bel Air mansion - but by the early 90s, the band's fame was starting to wane, as newer, grungier bands like Nirvana started to become more popular.
Seth Rogen as Rand Gauthier & Nick Offerman as 'Uncle Miltie'
Seth Rogen and Parks and Rec star Nick Offerman play the dodgy duo who leak Pam and Tommy's sex tape. Rand Gauthier (Seth Rogen) was a porn star turned electrician who was working on Tommy's mansion renovations; when that went sour, Rand took his revenge. Uncle Miltie (Offerman) is the nickname for porn producer Milton Ingley - the man who helped Rand distribute the stolen sex tape on the internet. In Pam & Tommy we get to know more about Rand (who's portrayed as a sympathetic character) and what drives him to leak the tape.
Taylor Schilling as Erica Gauthier
The Orange Is The New Black star portrays real-life queer porn star Erica Gauthier, Rand's estranged wife. In Pam & Tommy, Erica is living with another woman but Rand is still devoted to her. The storyline around their relationship is surprisingly sweet, even if Rand's most cherished memory of his wife is playing a dungeon scene with her in a porno.
