Make sure you're watching your TV at 9pm tonight, as Ollie Williams Love Island exit is going to be aired. Much to the shock of the show's fans, it was reported yesterday that Ollie left the villa, after he realised he was still in love with Laura Nofer, his ex-girlfriend.

And now, The Sun have reported that his exit is going to be shown tonight, with an emotional confession in the Beach Hut. 'I have to be honest with myself, and everyone, that I do still love someone else,' he says. 'I have to follow my heart in this scenario and it would be wrong for me to ignore these feelings. At the end of the day, this is Love Island and it’s about finding love. If I carried on anything with Paige, or any other girl that might come into the villa, it wouldn’t be fair on them.'

This means that his current match, Paige, will be seeking a new single to couple up with. 'The show made Ollie realise he wasn't ready to be in another serious relationship and he still has really strong feelings for Laura', a source had previously told the paper. 'Meeting girls who were so different to him and his background only clarified how he felt about his ex and he felt it was only fair to leave the competition and sort his head out.'

Ollie proved to be this series' most controversial choice. Last week, photos emerged of the landowner on a shooting trip, posing with the carcasses of animals that he had shot and killed.

He promised to be the perfect Love Islander. 'I’m an alpha male', he said ahead of the series launch. 'Wherever I go, I boss the room, I boss whatever I’m doing. I’ll be the butt of all jokes but I’ll also be the one to make all of the jokes. I'm attention seeking and I like to be the centre of what is going on at the time. I wear my emotions on my sleeve, I’m upfront and let people know what I think of them too.'

He did not get off to a good start, however. Even before the series started, he was mocked online for his discussions of his own wealth, as well as a passing resemblance to EastEnders actor Jake Wood.
