All The Best New Things Coming To Netflix In November

While you may still be only just getting over the excitement of season two of Stranger Things finally being on our screens, it is the time of the month where we look ahead to what other treasures Netflix has in store for us.

The clocks are going back, the nights are getting longer and the weird period of nothingness between Halloween and Christmas is prime time to hibernate with a duvet and your laptop. Here’s what to watch while you’re there.

One woman, three lovers. This new Netflix Original is an adaptation of director Spike Lee’s first film of the same name. It’s a 10 episode series which looks incredible. It’s all about a woman called Nola Darling who’s in her twenties, living in New York and yes, is seeing three different guys. She’s chill about it, others seemingly not so much.

Yep, you’ve now got another chance to re-live the hype churning, Academy Award winning, conversation dominating musical from the comfort of your own home. Any excuse for a little more time with Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone.

4. Alias Grace

Another Margaret Atwood adaptation coming at you. If you’re not already familiar with the novel, Alias Grace is based on the true story of a young woman (called Grace), a servant and Irish immigrant, who was imprisoned for the murder of her employer. It’s the one we’re anticipating everyone’s going to be talking about and if the trailers anything to go by, kiss all other obligations goodbye because you’re going to be hooked.

5. Mudbound

If you’re looking for a Netflix film to add to your list of potential award winners, Mudbound wouldn’t be an outlandish choice. Starring Mary J. Blige and Carey Mulligan, it’s about two soldiers who return to Mississippi from WWII and have to deal with the realities racism and post-traumatic stress along the way.
